Digital Suicide is a Protest Pop duo consisting of bedroom producers Daniel Langthasa aka Mr.India and Dpak Borah based out of Haflong, India.

Fiercely underground and independent, they have been generating buzz in India’s new and exciting independent music scene after a string of explosive performances at music festivals in India.

They have released 5 singles and 5 albums since January 2015 to critical acclaim. They have a sound like no other and like to call their brand of music “Dabangg” (Hindi), which in English means “Fearless”. Strong supporters of social and political activism, their aim is to spread awareness about the militarised and civil war torn north eastern region of India through their art.



Their new music is a take on insurgency and violence involving military task force in the region…...It is a personal song because so many people in our town have lost their lives because of insurgency and terrorist activities. Even my dad was a victim to that,” said Langthasa.

"I decided to come back to Haflong, because we wanted to play as much music in our hometown as we could. So that we can actually start a scene. Not just play music but also interatct with like minded youngsters who are into music and encourage them. And, I’m sure with technology like the internet a lot of things can happen.”
