about

Debut album by West Australian electronic artist Gravy Murphy

Beautifully realised electronic compositions that remind us in part of early Ultramarine, Pye Corner Audio and LA's Secret Circuit

BIOGRAPHY

Gravy Murphy is an electronic producer from Kent (UK). Living in Perth for the last 6 years.

GM used to be a strictly vinyl DJ but left all his vinyl behind him to be a nomad years ago, living in Greece, Rotterdam, Sydney, Dublin etc.

In Perth he studied audio engineering at SAE Institute. It was here Jon began experimenting with recording & production. Leading to becoming hooked on analogue synths.

Since then he has released 2 EPs, ‘Whereabouts are Your Whereabouts?’ & ‘EP2’. Both receiving a warm reception from the alternative radio stations around Australia.

Now with a first full length, ‘The World is Your Moisture’ to be released on Metal Postcard in mid June
